AVALON HOTEL ANNOUNCES NEW GENERAL MANAGER

Beverly Hills, Calif. - Avalon Hotel, the mid-century modern escape in the heart of Beverly Hills, welcomes its new general manager Janne Clare. John Arnett, chief operating officer for the Kor Hotel Group, Avalon Hotel's parent company, announced her appointment last week.

Prior to joining the Kor team, Clare opened and was the general manager of Nine Zero Hotel in Boston from 2001 to 2003. She was responsible for hiring and training all key personnel, creating and implementing operational standards and handling marketing efforts. Clare also holds more than 15 years of experience at Starwood Hotels and Resorts throughout Kauai, Hawaii, Costa Mesa, Calif., and Boston.

Originally built in 1949, the Avalon Hotel was completely redesigned and refurbished in 1999.
